After cooking your gummy recipe, pour the mixture into the mold(s) and put them in the refrigerator or freezer until firm.
Pop the piece out by gently holding the mold with your thumbs on top and fingers on the bottom of the mold and flexing it out and up.
Let the gummies warm to room temperature and put them in a zip lock bag. Or you can coat them in powdered sugar or superfine sugar then put them in a zip lock bag.
Transfer the cooked mixture to a heat proof glass measuring cup it will make for easier pouring into the molds.
1 package flavored gelatin powder (jello)
7 packages gelatin powder, unsweetened, unflavored (knox)
1/2 cup cold water
In a small saucepan, mix flavored and unflavored gelatin. Stir it up. Pour cold water in, stir with spatula until you have a messy blob. Turn heat on medium, melt blob. Stir until blob is melted. Pour into molds. Stick in freezer for 10 minutes to cool.
If you want sour gummys add one package unflavored koolaid and a few teaspoons more water.
